Die Band ECHO BLOOM rund im Bandleader Kyle Evans tourte bereits 2015 mit dem ersten Teil der Trilogie "BLUE" und dem zugehörigen Live-Album durch Deutschland und Europa und erntete viel Lob und
Anerkennung.
In "RED", dem zweiten Album der Farbentrilogie von ECHO BLOOM, umwebt die amerikanische Band den Kern des Country und Rock. Mit energiegeladenen Gitarren, donnernden Drums, zarten
Streichinstrumenten und dem beschwingten Banjo entsteht eine einzigartige Mischung, welche wohl einer ausgewogenen Mischung aus Tom Petty und My Bloody Valentine entspricht.
So ist die Band mit den vergangenen Tourneen erprobt, quasi "road-hardened" und eng zusammen gewachsen.
Im Sommer 2016 wird die eingeschworene Gemeinschaft dann „RED“ auf der Bühne präsentieren. Das Album „GREEN“ wird im Jahr 2017 den krönenden Abschluss bilden.
Die drei Alben der Trilogie sind allesamt in Berlin entstanden - inspiriert von ausgiebigen Fahrradtouren, die das ECHO BLOOM Mastermind Evans dort unternahm und dem Geruch der Bibliotheken, die
er dort aufsuchte.
Schließlich verlässt Evans Deutschland mit Material für drei Alben. Da jedes Album für sich in ein anderes Genre passt, beginnt Evans sie als verschiedene Jahreszeiten, verschiedene Länder und
schlussendlich als verschiedene Farben zu betrachten. „Blue“ ist das Folk-orientierte Album in der Reihe, „Red“ lässt sich in den Country-Rock einordnen, während „GREEN“ als klassische Popmusik
zu bezeichnen ist.
Live ist die Band als Quartett zu sehen. Neben Sänger und Gitarrist Kyle Evans, besteht das Ensemble aus Aviva Jaye mit Altgesang und am Klavier, Cody Rahn an den Percussions und Alex Minier am
Bass.

RED, the second album in Echo Bloom's Colors trilogy, finds the band wrapping their songs around a core of country and rock, combining feedback-drenched guitars and thundering drums with
orchestral strings and banjo into a unique mixture that's equal parts Tom Petty and My Bloody Valentine.
Echo Bloom, led by Kyle Evans, has become a road-hardened group after the release of their 2015 record Blue, which No Depression magazine described as "a masterpiece (Lee Zimmerman)„. The band
embarked on several extensive tours that brought them across Europe and the US, getting the band into a tight recording unit.
After bouncing between Washington DC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, Kyle Evans eventually caught the muse he was searching for in Berlin. Completely submerged in the German culture, Evans found
inspiration in dusty libraries along the
Spree and long, quiet bike rides through the city. He holed up in an apartment and woodshedded for months, the seclusion allowing him the perfect environment to completely focus on his work.
After a few months, he left Germany with material for three records. Because each album seemed to fit into slightly different genres, Evans began thinking about them as different seasons,
different countries and finally, different colors. 'Blue' would be the more folk-oriented of the group, 'Red' would be more country rock, and 'Green' would be more classic pop.
Today the quartet adds Aviva Jaye on alto vocals and piano, Alex Minier on bass, and Cody Rahn on percussions.
