Last Time I Was There

by Roger Tarry

The name Roger Tarry, singer-songwriter from Bristol, has been synonymous with tender bittersweet melancholy since 2002. With the backing of Ben Goode (Bass), Chris Lewis (Drums) and Toby Field (Piano) the debut-album “Last Time I Was There” was recorded at Riverside Studios, Bath, in 2005, engineered and produced by Seb Pecchia.

‘Last Time I Was There’ is characterized by careful arrangements and a delicate narrative. Roger Tarry`s guitarwork and his vocals blend with melodies full of melancholy and Alison Gillies´ sensitive cello.

Roger Tarry took his songs to steadily growing audiences at clubs and festivals throughout the UK. Airplay on local and national radio resulted in the use of his song “Walk With Me“ for the 4. season of “Dawson Creek“.
