Joyful Noise is the third album from roots-rockers King Of The Tramps. It picks up where “Wicked Mountain” leaves off, with a genuine whiskey gospel feel. There is
a balanced mix of bluesy rockers, heartfelt ballads and foot stomping sing-a-longs. The 9 songs cover a lot of territory, with stories about trains, washed up singers, tragedies, wanderlust and
assorted bar room gospels.
The songs were recorded at Old School Studies in Auburn, IA over a period of 6 months in a true collaborative, organic effort. This record finds the band clicking together better than ever with a more intuitive sense of jam sensibility, structure and song development.
